How to Add" Sponsored Links" Forum?
On some forums I noticed that they have a "sponsored links" category or forum as a form of advertisement. Does anyone know how to add this? Is there a a mod or company that offers it here on vBulletin.org? I haven't been able to find anything. Is this an exclusive AdSense thing for forums or are there other advertisers that offer this?
Any input is appreciated. Thanks! |

Thank you very much for the mod. I will look into this.
A very good example of what I was talking about is on this vbulletin forum: http://forum.dontpayfull.com/ They have about 2 or 3 "Sponsored Links" forums at any given time. |

I can see that getting lost myself, took me a bit to find it. I personally think a dedicated area like in the mod is much more predominant.

Yeah, it is very simple. Just create a new forum and place your ad code inside the description. You can then set it either as a forum for that sponsor or just set it as a link only.
I haven't looked at that mod that Ozzy posted but the mod I think of which may be what he posted is to display a specific banner inside a forum which is also pretty cool. Otherwise this would have to be done using conditionals and a mod is always easier than that. ## - I see the mod that Ozzy listed but I haven't used it. It was not the one I mentioned but Ozzy's mods are always useful! |
