copyright alteration
is it kosher to take the vb copyright info at the bottom and change the format, or even move it to a completely different spot? i assume it only needs to be visible on every page, other than that i can do what i want with it.
am i right? |

yes, as long as it's still visible in the footer somewhere

another question, is there specific code that must be in the page that is found by default in the footer?

You should not need to alter the code.
What is it you are trying to do with the copyright? |

all i want to do is flatten it out to one line and make it flush against the bottom of the browser. to minimize its footprint.
--------------- Added [DATE]1391300566[/DATE] at [TIME]1391300566[/TIME] --------------- but i want to make sure i dont exclude some important code. because i have no need for anything else found in the footer template. |

You can edit the phrase, powered_by_vbulletin and remove the <br /> from it, but that is about it.
It is already at the bottom of the page, but where ever you got your style from, has seemed to leave a bunch of dead space below the actual page it's self. --------------- Added [DATE]1391303226[/DATE] at [TIME]1391303226[/TIME] --------------- Although as you add more to the page, the footer should get closer to the bottom of the browser. |
