Default Can't get in AdminCP - Not on screen

My website has been down for about 48 hours now. I have submitted a ticket to Vbulletin.com, and also have been working with my host "Hostgator".

I keep on getting this error:
--------------------------------
Warning: Unexpected character in input: '\' (ASCII=92) state=1 in /home1/navyfami/public_html/mywebsite.com/forums/global.php(834) : eval()'d code on line 100

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home1/navyfami/public_html/mywebsite.com/forums/global.php(834) : eval()'d code on line 100
--------------------------------

File: /home1/navyfami/public_html/mywebsite.com/forums/global.php(834) : eval()'d code

Vbulletin says it is some type of plug in problem. However, I have not added any plug in over 2 years. I did what Vbulletin.com wanted me to do which is add the following code:

define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);
to my config.php directly under <?php which I did.

My website still looks the same with the errors poping up and
I still can't get into my ADMINCP....

What am I doing wrong? How do I fix this?

--------------- Added [DATE]1390717692[/DATE] at [TIME]1390717692[/TIME] ---------------

On line 834 of the global.php file I have this:

eval('$footer = "' . fetch_template('footer') . '";');

Still can't get into the system

Its definitely a hooks (mod thats calling a hook) problem, are you sure you're not seeing cached views of your site?

I must admit, I am pretty dumb at this stuff....

When you say cached view, I'm thinking you mean to get a fresh screen. So I'm pressing the "F5" key.

Is that how you make a fresh screen shot?
(Its funny because I can understand how to get into the file to add the line that vbulletin said to change, but I don't know
if I'm doing seeing the new screen shot by pressing F5... )

Just a update to this thread, Bop5 got his site going through support from vB.com. it was his footer template had been hacked.

Now it is just up to the OP to upgrade to the latest version of vB3 and update all of the mods on the site.

The latest version of Vb3? Ouch. i haven't touched that in years. May be a good time to update to a newer version if having to go through the updates, etc anyways.
