Smileys not working in WYSIWYG editor on IE11 (3.8.7)
Smileys aren't working in the WYSIWYG editor when viewing the site in IE11.
They work in the standard editor for users, but not in the WYSIWYG editor. I have confirmed this on multiple sites using vB 3.8.7. Also the browser detection trick didn't seem to help with it. Anybody have any issues with this? |

So, I have confirmed that this is an issue with several other sites as well.

Its an issue, YUI is not correctly identifying the browser (due to UA changes).

I mean, I've been up and down your thread regarding the issue and I can't seem to get it to work. One thing I noticed is that we have a site that's running 3.8.7, but the YUI version is 2.7, which seems to work in IE11 |

Its possible that on your 387 site, its forcing Ie11 to use IE9 mode.

So back to your point, smileys are just broken in general and there's no fix?

You have to make YUI recognize IE11 as IE, and then maybe it'll work. But YUI we use is no longer getting any updates.
