New StyleVar Empty on Install

Hey, First of all I did search threads a few years back an seen nothing answered.
I'm working on a new add-on an would like to ad the style variables to the editor an use them. The problem I'm having is when I copy the binary text from the database entry an paste it in my in my product install. The value is not being inserted, variables are there just blank. Where do I get the value that will insert properly or is there some other part I'm missing. Thanks

If you set the values in the master style, and assigned it to your product, it should add that info into the product XML when you export it.

Tried that again an still exporting empty even after inserting value. So I copy n pasted a value from another mod an it showed up as theirs. Updated it an exported from the product page an the value hadn't changed.

I then thought if it's a style then I went to style & templates to download my current style an my add-on an walla sure enough all it had was the value for the field I just updated. As complicated as that was to learn that, that is apparently why you can select products from there.
