After reverting Navbar file, buggy style, how to revert back?
This topic is SOLVED now.
Merging new changes after upgrade into navbar file failed. So i tried revert link, but it reverted to some old version which is not usable. Please how can i get back old suctomised version? Quote:
any guide on how i can get out this old template file from mysql database 2GB big? -------- UPDATE: I was able to restore that crap navbar template by going back in web browser history (because i watched the differences (merge failure in that file before i "Reverted it") (AdminCP / then you see: Out-of-Date Custom Templates Found! then there is a link: "Click here to view these templates!" then "[View Highlighted Changes] " that was it. so i did Back buttons in browser and so i coppied original code that was there in browser history. Just commented out: <!-- New Default Value --> <!-- Old Default Value --> But you need to play with this fcking code, because you need to remove some blocks of new default old default value, else you will have it twice on the website. so save it highlighted somewhere, dont close window with differences. the template file can be editted in AdminCP / Styles & Templates / Style manager / selectstyle in dropdown do: / Edit template Find right template file, edit. I HATE VBULLETIN TEMPLATE MERGE FAILURES. PLEASE IMPROVE IT SO ITS MORE EASY TO MERGE. PLEEEASE |
