Default Vbulletin vs Xenforo customer service

Without going into details of any of the VB or XF stories based on past experience, here is a difference in the level of professionalism and why VB is better than XF (not only features wise but with the way they communicate with customers) - Something built on history VBulletin - is not the same as something built on no history and just exploited and grabbed a good 'chance' - Xenforo

True customer service professionalism comes when someone respond in a clam and professional manner trying to resolve the matter rather than degrading it. All it needs is a friendly tone, not a stubborn one. It really works, I wonder why many companies do not understand this. You built more trust and it is the essence of any successful business - take Amazon for example. Their # 1 priority is customer service satisfaction.

Try to disagreed with XF and you will be crossed, they don't need you, they need people who can join their bandwagon and propaganda. Hypocrisy at its finest.

I'd like to mention that with Lawrence Cole, he was very patient with my ticket responses and always kept a clam and professional figure. Meaning he didn't snap just because he didn't like what i say or the way i say it.

Trolling like you are over there, at any site, would most likely get the same reaction from any site. I know I'd take disciplinary action if it were my site.

Ok whatever, a XF supporter lurking on VB to bash here whoever criticize XF and bash VB there, no big deal. Why do you even bother? Your numbers are limited and the truth will come out and in the end, well guess what, you guys can support Mike, Kier and Ashley with your mods/plugin when customers finds the truth and leave XF - it is only a matter of time.

All customers have to do is disagree with the way XF are being hypocrites to see the truth, it is that simple. XF didn't have any rules, trolled and spread hate, and drama and all for their own benefit, not to mention stealing community and members from VB during their critical time VB5. Many felt for it thinking they are the rescue guys but it doesn't take too long to realize that building history takes years not an instant.

No matter what, you don't say this to a customer. You don't and as a founder of a company not an employee, well we've seen XF true color.

Katie it sounds like your favorite pastime is stirring up the pot. You post "over there" and try to get things started. Then you come here and do the same thing.

Umm NO // It is nice to reveal the truth and share it better than it goes under the carpet unnoticed, and stirring the pot is XF favorite part, we all know how they acted in the past but during that time many were thinking they were the rescue guys, like i've stated before. Many have realized it now but not enough yet.

This thread is simply comparing a good vs bad customer service and coming straight from managers and/or owners :up: People like to see the truth and compare and contrast to make a good judgement on what to buy. I would never want to buy XF and be treated that way by the owner. Would spike my anger so much.

This topic is like Google vs Bing and how each acts. or Facebook vs Google+ they are normal discussions.

Exactly right, and this one is already going the same way, this is not the place for VB v XF argments. Please do not restart threads on the same subject that have been previously closed.
