error message help (photo uploads)
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 116916178 bytes) in /home/XXXXXX/public_html/forum/includes/functions_threadedmode.php on line 23
A member is getting the above error message and cannot upload any pics or smilies due to being over his limit. He currently has a total of 19.32MB of attachments. He also reports that he cannot access certain pic heavy pages probably due to these limitations. What is the best approach to solve this? |

Well your memory_limit is already at 128M, you can try to increase it a bit more in php.ini
I would find out though what is causing the pages to be so slow though, 128M should be more than enough. |

The host (Hostgator) via live chat says its a vBulletin problem..
(4:20 pm) [Brian J.] The issue is related to vBulletin using too much memory or trying to allocate more memory than php is allowing. (4:23 pm) [Brian J.] Raising the php memory limit will just cause more problems if that script does not have a sufficient memory limit in place. |
