vB Spelling Autocorrect

I've created an autospell for vB, and I'm wondering if anybody would be interested in using it.
Autospell makes the following types of corrections:

1. Spelling (demenor -> demeanor, let?s him -> lets him, their self -> themselves),
2. Case (tuesday -> Tuesday, tv -> TV, i?m -> I?m),
3. Diacritics (deja vu -> d?j? vu),
4. Punctuation (you;re -> you?re, dont? -> don?t),
5. Chatspeak (4 u -> for you),
6. Deletion: some chatspeak and fillers (wtf, go ahead and),
7. Multiple punctuation (!!! -> !),
8. Post case: posts with over 50% upper case letters get sentence cased,
9. Sentence case (?last word. begin again? -> ?last word. Begin again?).

I was attempting to gauge interest with this thread before I expended energy making it a plugin. Unfortunately, there wasn't much.

A shame that more people didn't express interest. With the state of grammar on the Internet today, you'd think that most people would be overjoyed to have this on their board. I certainly know that I would!

Expecting a bunch of forum admins to create an account on another site (your site) just to look at a possible mod is not probably going to happen unless you are already well known here for creating mods for vB.

Nothing against you, it's just the nature of the business.

The idea is great and if there was a mod that incorporated everything you have mentioned above (or even half of it) there probably aren't too many people who wouldn't run it and many that would pay for it.

You would be much better off creating the mod with one or a couple of the options mentioned just to start. Then once the mod is available on here you'll be able to judge interest in it much better. You'll also receive the feedback you are looking for. Unfortunately, that is probably the only way you'll get any significant interest/feedback.

P.S. There are lots of vb4 forum admins that only check the mods section regularly and will never even see this thread.
