Simple question:

Why are pictures not displayed in widgets? Especially the CMS widgets..
Is this normal behaviour?

Widgets can have images. Need a bit more information @DemOnstar, which widgets are you referring too?

I am surprised that it isn't default or maybe I just haven't set it up right?

Primarily I am talking about the Recent Articles and Recent Forum Post widget. I expect that recent Blogs widget is the same..

Even though there are pictures included in the articles and they show on the section page, they don't show in any of the widgets above..
Same goes for forum posts, some threads have pics but none are seen in the widgets..

Blogs likewise..

If you do a Google search on vBulletin.org you will find several posts regarding this. I found this one which will point you in the right direction, but there might be a much better one out there. No matter what adding images is not too difficult task.

Thanks for the link tbworld, it worked perfectly well...

One question though, is the recent article widget in the CMS using a different template to the one in the forum blocks?
The reason I ask this is because the pics show in the widget but not in the recent article forum block...
