php file to auto clear cache

Hello, today i had my main page freeze up in terms of not showing new posts, once you click them though it shows in the sub forum. I clear the cache and that worked. Can anyone help with a php file on how to have it auto clear the cache in case I'm not around, this is for vb5.05. Thank you.
