Administrative and Maintenance Tools - [OzzModz] Global Admin / Mod Notes In ACP / MODCP

Here is a small modification you can use to show a block in the ACP / MODCP that contains notes admins typed in.

Only Admins can type notes in the block, if you choose to let Mods view them, that is all they can do, they can not add notes.

It is a simple installation, just import the product XML, product-ozzmodz_global_notes_3.8

You can edit the options under the settings, OzzModz: Global Admin / MOD Notes Settings

Q. Why would I need such a mod?

A. The current Administrator Notes, only show up for the person that typed them, these notes will show up to all admins / mods, better to communicate things in the ACP / MODCP that way.

What does 'Marking As Installed' do ?

* It helps you to stay on top of updates - members who have installed modifications will be notified whenever new updates are available.

* For security issues - vBulletin.org will contact all members who have installed a modification whenever a security issue is brought to their attention.

* Marking a modification as installed also helps me know how many people are using my work, giving me extra incentive to provide more features and new modifications.

I actually have no use at all for this since I have no Moderators and never will have, but installed anyway with no hitches this time.

It's a cool idea and would definitely be useful for most all boards IMO.

I have two other admins so yeah, I suppose this could be handy for leaving "notes on the fridge" to them. Only the Super Admin can see the admin notes in native adminCP?

No, each admin will only see what they type in in the native Administrator Notes block.
