Hello,
i recently bought a new server and requested my hosts to open stmp so they did cause when i nmap -sT -O localhost it shows 25/tcp open smtp, and also when from the ssh i try sending a file cat test.txt email it works but form vbulletin 4.2 i dont know why its not sending emails not by php neither by smtp can anyone help please thanks

If you have "Use Mailqueue System" set to "Yes" then most mail will only be sent from a scheduled task (which requires site traffic to run). If you go to the admincp main page, in the lower right of the "Welcome to the vBulletin Admin Control Panel" section there's "Number of Queued E-Mails", you can see if you have any in the queue.
