Default Album photo sizes

Where do I adjust the size of album photos and their thumbnails?

@Gary, found this excellent post by @Lynne.

I didn't have time to check this out any further (Just on lunch break), but maybe it will get you started. Let me know if it helped. I quickly checked admincp and for some reason could not find the setting... But that's me

No problem getting the thumbs changed .... clicking on the thumbs (while viewing album) just brings up the thumb again in it's own window, same size.

Hmm, on my system it seems to work okay, but maybe I modified it. I will take a look on a raw 4.2.1 vbulletin and report back. To be clear, you are saying that when you click on the thumbnail for a photo, the photo that is displayed ends up being the same size as the thumbnail. Correct?

Okay, so you have something going on there.. It is time to disable your hooks and see if the problem goes away. Works fine in v4.2.0, v4.2.1.

Yes, that is correct. If I make any progress I'll post it.

Thanks

Note: Obviously it is from another add on as everything works perfectly on my test site. Photoplog comes to mind. I recently had to uninstall it as it had a conflict with another add on. I've searched for and removed all the files/directories associated with Photoplog. (that were obvious to me)

Still have same problem

Since the album works fine under my account it might be that you altered the photo height and width under your usergroup.

See usergroup manager->User Album Permissions-> Album Photo Maximum Height/Width.

I feel slightly sick

Thanks for solving my problem. It was in the user group settings for admins.

When you said it looked ok to you (looking at it being in the registered group) that got my wheels to turning that it had to be a group permission. One thing I now know I need to do is to create an additional account for myself in the "Registered Usr" category. So I can compare what the membership sees as compared to what I as the Admin see's.

Yes, definitely keep another account that is just a regular Registered User. It will help you out a lot especially when you are playing with permissions!

I'm glad you got your Album size figured out.
