How to keep Admins from showing in "who viewed"?
4.2.0, stock... The stock "who viewed this thread"
I love the "who has viewed this thread". but I see there are no settings for who does and who does not show up. As an Admin, I'd love to surf an area incognito without always showing up in the "who read...." Any setting for this? Or I just surf Invisible all the time? Any code I could add somewhere to hide Admins from showing up? --------------- Added [DATE]1376763154[/DATE] at [TIME]1376763154[/TIME] --------------- I guess never mind!!! I think this already is an ADMIN only feature anyway!!! I didn't realize that |

Members can see it if it has been set for them to see it

OK, THNX guys... now I fully see where all the settings are.
SO, now I'll re-ask my original Q: can I change some coding somewhere to not allow ADMINS to show up in that list? That does not seem to be a specific setting and vbull.com said for me to come here for the coding. |

sounds like you may need to use an if statement to display the usergroups in an array. I'm not a brilliant PHP coder, but something around this may suffice:
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=246016 In lehmann's terms; - Find all users in table users - Select users with display group id's of (other usergroups excluding admin) - If user has usergroup ID of admin do not show - else show them |
