Can a sub style have its own images

Hi, I was wondering: Can a sub style have its own images.

For a certain sub-style I need to lighten the icons like "/images/site_icons/forum.png" (used in member,php) because they are way too dark on this sub-style background.

When yes, where to place these ? In which directory ?

I found it. It is the Style Var "ImagePaths" where one can define this.
