how to value my forum?

hi i`ve been thinking about selling my forum www.vauxhallmodified.com as i`ve got another forum too and aint really got time plus i`d like to use the vb4 licence on my new project so how can i work out what its worth without the vb4 licence its got the .com and .co.uk domains and been online for about 18 months with 6,971 threads,15,295 posts and 677 members and a good google ranking its on page 1 for the search term vauxhall forum and here`s a screenshop of traffic info from cloudflare

How much money is it making? Expect 12-18 months of your monthly revenue. I wouldn't expect much though to be honest, I would keep working away at it.

to be honest it was never setup to make money i put ebay adds on 3 months ago and earned £36 but not put any effort into it at all with the revenue side i`ve just got a new forum and not got much time or interest for it but would sooner keep than sell for peanuts as its getting quite active and i`ve put alot of time into it over the last 18months

I buy forums, especially car forums. Here is what I would think to myself if you approached me. Please don't take this personally, as I am not trying to insult you.

No revenue
Only 15,000 posts
Going to showgroups.php results in a database error (makes me wonder what other programming issues there might be)

its the first i know about the showgroups error and there is no more issues and i`ve already said the vb licence dont come with it i`ll be converting it to a free software soon but i`ll be looking into that error and as said i`ve not really tried to make money as it was`nt setup for that and as for the number of posts it is only 18 months old so what do you expect really lol

It's probably not going to be worth much seeing as your only drawing in 6K unique visitors/month.

If I was looking to buy a forum, I'd consider the following:

*How much earnings potential does it have?
*How active is the community?
*How many active topics are there on a daily basis?
*How much traffic is coming in & how to improve on it?
*Are there enough members to email if a buyer wants to notify users of an "Upcoming version 2 of this site."?
