Well this sux!
The one skin I found that was so nice I actually paid for it, and after creating 1 support ticket, the site/business closes down!
So now I have this super nice skin that I am going to have to rely on this site's knowledge to help me work on it when and if need be. The business I bought it from had a "no copyright" required at the bottom of page. I can't even go to their site to see what the restrictions are for the use of "my style". I'm not even going to give them credit since they bailed on me and didn't give me the support that was to be available for a certain period of time. Anyone else had this happen to them? |

@Gary, sorry to hear that
Your signature says your running vb4. If so I can help you make the changes you need. No worries. The chances that vb4 will have many changes in the future will be very slim. |

It just really erks me that the site/business didn't give more notice and did not leave some type of support for it's customers. |

The site I got this style from is out of business and I have no support shortly after paying for the style. I'm tempted to release the style. |

You have done an awesome job @GaryT. I think I told you before, PM me if you need any help altering the template code for the future, it is no big deal.
Releasing the skin: It is not worth the legal trouble, should the author decides to pursue it -- I know you were just upset with the author when you stated that. |

Thanks,
I have had but one issue with this style. That is making the style show up as fluid for a default setting. The is an option in the admin cp to set that but it does not work. No matter what I do it still shows up as a fixed width. |

Tell me the setting you are trying to change in the ACP. Are you trying to change it via a stylevar? If it doesn't work, it is because the author override it with CSS. Pretty common practice with vb4 templates, because the stylevars were limited until later on in the development cycle.

Releasing the product, let customers buy (and pay for !!!) it and then leaving them with any support is - to use non-offensive words - just not fair.
