I have a need to appoint an Admin to have all privileges, yet I do not want to show his status as such in his profile. Can this be done?

Make a new group call it whatever you want copy admin permissions to the group so group name and title will not show in anyway its a admin group but if you don't want it to show in (view site leaders) then untick that in that group settings
