problem during upgrading to vb4

Hello ,

Please help me , I am now upgrading from 3.8.7 to 4.2.1 and the process still on 8% "Status: Processing 4.0.0 Alpha 1, Step 31 of 109" for about one hour from now .... is this normal ?
