Moving my vBulletin 5 to a subdirectory !

Good day all,
I'm having problems with moving my vBulletin 5 from my main directory to a subdirectory, I've tried to do as advised in other posts here but it didn't work!
I tried dragging the files and folders to the subdirectory and change the URL in AdminCP>Settings>Options> Site Name / URL / Contact Details but still not working and it gives me a message when I go to the site thats says something like "fatal error" and "not authorised" !

Can somebody help me please ?

We would need to know the *exact* error you are getting in order to help and a link to the forums would be helpful also. You may need to also add a RewriteBase line into your .htaccess file that points to the subdirectory.

and the message that appears (as you might see when visiting the site) is :
"Forbidden

You don't have permission to access / on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Apache Server at www.q8nurses.com Port 80"
and when I access the website with the subdirectory like so : http://q8nurses.com/forum
It's all messed up

What should I do ?

A forbidden error is a server issue with your permissions. You may want to ask your host for help with it if you don't know how to fix it.

It also looks like you don't have the .htaccess file uploaded to the directory. Additionally, as I already mentioned, you probably need the RewriteBase directive added in:

<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
	RewriteEngine On
	RewriteBase /forum/

It seems that I've messed up so many things so I'll just try to re-install the forum since there is not much to lose :P
