Yeah it is a known issue, it is cause the RSS in vB5 is not working. it was discussed here, https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=298009

They should do something to it, anything, but not leave it blank as it is,,,,

The RSS problem just means no new posts are picked up from vb.com.

It should not cause it to be blank, Im not sure why that is atm. Possibly there is a date cutoff.
Its a long while since I even looked at the portal code, so I dont recall, I guess I'll have to take a look.

If you cant get rss from vb5 then maybe just fill it with hot topics from this site?

It picks up from the News and Announcements forum (and does have a cutoff period). I have manually copied the recent announcements.
