hook location question

I have a mod that I got to work on my mobile articles page (cms). I am trying to get the same mod to work in vbdynamics. Do I need to change the hook location?

Currently it is global_bootstrap_init_start

I tried firing this under both vbulletin and vbdynamics product

Basically what I am trying to do is show articles from a certain category in a vbdynamics page.
