Where is my advanced editor buttons???
OK, I have uninstalled and reinstalled 4.2.1 twice now trying to fix an RSS Poster Robot problem (still unresolved). But I am also trying to fix an editor problem. The editor buttons don't show up...no red "x"'s. nothing, they don't show up at all.
I have set my editor in my cp to "advanced", I have turned all of the editor settings in AdminCP to "advanced" I have tried changing them from "advanced" to "standard" to "basic" and back and forth In IE10 - there is no difference between "standard" and "advanced" In Chrome - "advanced" has many of the buttons I expected, EXCEPT the "filmstrip"/"add video" to post button (which is the whole reason I am trying this because I'd like to add videos in the posts). I just realized that sometimes, the "advanced" buttons do not show in Chrome either. I have been pulling my hair out with the most basic functions of 4.2.1 in a new install. I had a previous 4.1 without problem, and I have two 3.8.7's, currently running on the same server without problems. I searched for other posts and found a few unanswered questions, anyone? I think I am going to uninstall again and then install 4.somethingelse Will the older version use the existing database? Arrrgghhhhh at the thought Johnnie |
