Disable post count per forum
Hi there,
Google and Search is not my friend today! I'm trying to disable the post count in my staff forums on 5.0.2, could somebody explain how to do this please! Thanks |

I don't know if the admin CP is the same for vB5 as it is for vB4.
In the Forum Manager edit your admin forums. In the "Enable / Disable Features" section set "Count Posts Made in this Forum Towards User Post Counts" to No |

I can't find it :/
Under "Channel Management" I edit the forum and don't see any setting and also edit the permissions and don't see the setting. |

Well I figured I should give vb5 a go rather than vb4. I know phpBB like the back of my hand, but this one just doesn't seem to have this option :/
--------------- Added [DATE]1368397331[/DATE] at [TIME]1368397331[/TIME] --------------- I have a feeling it hasn't installed properly. I don't think all of my options are there... --------------- Added [DATE]1368399843[/DATE] at [TIME]1368399843[/TIME] --------------- Yes, I'm sure it's not installed correctly. When in "Forum Manager" editing a forum's settings I only have: Title, Description, Display Order, Parent Channel, Custom Style for this Channel, Override Users' Style Choice, Act as Channel, Allow BB Code, Allow Smilies". I'm pretty certain there should be more options than that. Also, when in larger setting pages the faded two-tone background doesn't line up with each new option if that makes sense. --------------- Added [DATE]1368440770[/DATE] at [TIME]1368440770[/TIME] --------------- OK, I did a complete re-install and it's just the same. Does anyone else know what I could do? |
