Gosh Gary thinking back to vB4 I believe yes you can yet you need to register the variables in the template... been ages but basically how some used ot move the facebook login from header area to navbar and that required such.
Alternatively you *might* be able to adjust the location using css alone .

I tried on my test site to just copy the code and put it in my navbar section but, it messed everything up. So .... here I is
