WordPress page name "forum" overrides VB forum

WordPress page name "forum" overrides VB forum

On site WordPress is at the root, and the VB forum at www.site.com/forum/
In WordPress new pages are made to www.site.com/new-page-title/

Unfortunately a new page with title "forum" was made, and now this WP page is served whenever someone goes to www.site.com/forum/

It seems no files are actually changed inside the /forum/ folder, all files seem intact. So it seems WP is overriding at a higher level.

Any ideas how to fix this?
