I.E. won't let me login

On one of my styles if I try to login using I.E., it thanks me for logging in but goes back to page and I'm not logged in ??

Once it gave me some sort of missing token warning .... just once.

you need to check header template as you might have some missing code. Have you checked the url in case you are using no www when it needs to be added also try checking the remember me option

I played it safe and overwrote the style with the original and it's ok now.

MAN I almost had it just exactly like I wanted it!! I think maybe I need to stick to graphics

In a lot of areas in life I would make the suggestion for someone wanting to learn something, jump on in, you'll sink or learn how to swim. I'm trying my best to not wear the community out by having to save my butt all the time

I've always enjoyed exchanging ideas/resources with this community. I just hate that I don't have more to offer. But hey, It's my hobby and I'm here for different reasons than most. I don't think editing just the style templates would have caused a login problem unless (1) you accidentally altered something in headinclude or (2) were using some kind of custom JavaScript. I was testing out some JavaScript I picked up from Dynamic Drive once, and it was logging my users out of the forum.

It was only a problem with I.E.
I have been converting the "Web and Art Solutions | Take Five Theme" over to my choice of graphics to both enhance my site and learn more about graphics and the placement of such within the structure of the page.

The only templates I have changed are those that are shown in red as being altered. Before making any such changes I save a copy of the code for backup.

Was the login problem there before or after making the template changes? Which templates did you edit? There's a possibility that the designer implemented a so-called "IE fix" that would actually cause problems in IE down the road. For example, I added the IE Png Fix code to my board a couple of years ago, which was supposed to make .png files display properly for old versions of IE. Shortly afterwards I was getting emails from my users who couldn't actually get the page to load at all in IE. Check to see if the headinclude template was altered and use the comparison option (which I assume is still in vB4) to see if anything looks suspicious. It might be something relatively simple.
