Does anyone have any suggestions of how to do something?
I want to give members more options for how I communicate with them, and to achieve this I've created 3 new custom profile fields: (1) Newsletter subscription (monthly): Yes/No (2) Digest subscription (weekly): Yes/No (3) Promotional email subscription (monthly): Yes/No I already have approx 10,000 members and I want to email them out of courtesy to get them to set their preferences so that I don't annoy anyone with unwanted emails! Is there a way I could do this with minimum hassle? If members could update their preferences without having to log in that would be perfect! I don't know how this could be done though. One option is that I could send them a link to a survey form containing the 3 options. They would fill it in and the results would be emailed back to me. I could then update everyone's accounts manually. This could be a neat solution if not many people respond, but if I get 100s of responses it will cause me a load of extra work. Any ideas on a better solution? |
