How to find a navbar modification
I made a change to my vbulletin 4.2 site some time ago. Now I need to modify that change, but for the life of me cannot find where I changed it in the first place. I documented much of my work, but missed this somehow.
I added a simple link on the next to "quick links". It is not in the navbar template. Attached is a screenshot of the item I need to change. The label is circled, and all it does is point to an html link. Thanks! |

Go to your User CP and look at the downloads and installs, if it was something you got as a file or marked installed you will have record of it there.
That is why you should always mark something installed if you use it. |

Thanks, but no such luck. I remember editing css on a template, but that is all. I looked for 2 hours and still frustrated. I looked through the templates, but the only ones showing as modified are not the right ones. I am very new with vB and it shows...

Post a link to your site and I will take a look to see what you changed.
Do me a favor, go to your adminCp and go to settings the look for Add Template Name in HTML Comments and activate it so i can see what template you made the change to. |

Thank you for the offer. I just found it. It was buried in the navigation manager. I tripped over it when I created a test link to add to the menu.
Thanks again for your speedy reply! |
