Is there a way to reply to a post and it show to whom I was responding without having to quote the entire post?
So the post reply would show something like: In response to: badcarb: xxx yyy my reply xxx I know that a user can edit the quote but my most of my members do not go there. To be honest I prefer the full quote reply so it is clear to exactly what a user is replying to but I am getting a bunch of emails asking for this option after I made the shift to vbulletin. |

might be able to modify the "reply" id or class that adds the username of the post being replied to.
<a id="qr_814680" class="quickreply" href="newreply.php?do=newreply&p=814680&noquote=1" title="Quick reply to this message"> <img title="Quick reply to this message" id="replyimg_814680" src="clear.gif" alt="Quick reply to this message"> Reply</a> Some way to just print the username of the post ID being replied to |
