Giving permission for editing messages to a user
I want to give permission for editing to a user. How can I do this without making him a Supermoderator?

He would need to either be a moderator in that forum, or be a super moderator.

Indeed, either make him/her a local moderator or you will need a custom mod to give extra special permission for those actions to a certain user/s.

admincp/Forums & Moderators/Forum Manager in the drop down box pick add moderator
Moderator Usernames = put member name in this box Change Moderator's Primary Usergroup to = leave this as is You can then set his/her permissions or leave as is then save. Do this for all the forums you want them to mod It does not matter what group they are in and they don't need to be in a mod or super mod group for you to do this |
