How to put thread preview into meta description tag?

I want to use thread preview variable ({vb:raw thread.preview}, template "threadbit") in my meta description tag (template SHOWTHREAD).

It is possible in vB3 but not in vB4: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?p=1884101

Any idea how to display it?
