New to vbelletin
i want to start a forum, and i was told about vbellutin, my question is what is the difference
between vbellutin connect 5 and vbellutin 4 . does VB5 include cms and blog or no. which one do u guys recommend. Thanks |

Well, first off, vB5 Connect is still a beta product, so it really shouldn't be used on a live site. It also doesn't yet have all the features available in vB4. If you are going to start a new site, I'd suggest using vB4 and then upgrade to vB5 when it goes Gold and has all the features you want.

There is no option to purchase vbulletin 4.2 alone separately. So you need to buy the vbulletin 5 connect.
So, when you buy the vb5 connect, the older versions of vbulletin are included with that.. ie: Vbulletin 4.2 & 3.x series. You can use any version you want. |
