Forum Email Verification
I realized like 500 + members aren't listed because of the email verification. I went to admincp and realized its possible to change them to registered one at a time. is it possible to select ALL the unverified email accounts at once and make them registered?

users --> move/prune --> select usergroup desired & move to group, select search options, ie less that 1 post if none of them posted.
results page, select them all, mass move. |

not a good idea as most if not all are bots and not real emails

Dont do it. Most likely they are spam bots. Instead send an email out to that group as a reminder and post a link to the Contact us form on your forums if they did not receive the first email. Some may have just used the wrong email address or your notification was spam blocked.

Amen to that, I switched my email settings on the forum so that they are sent through a gmail account. It seems to get them through the filters instead of having the local server do it.
And mine is a dedicated server no less |

How can I change my email settings so that the verification email doesn't end up in the spam box of my newly registered members?
Thanks |

Since it's useless now for verifying legitimacy of a registration, it really has no use. You might think about that. Sorry I couldn't help you otherwise. One good answer appears to be from the previous post: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost....78&postcount=6 |
