delete the image via ftp, then upload the image again in the correct transfer mode, your ftp client should be set to auto or use binary for images, ascii for file txt, js etc....

Yeah, I checked that image on my FTP and it looks exactly the same as yours (cp_logo.gif) but it doesn't in the ACP.

Check the path to the logo in your admincp. Is it the same path as the logo your looked at? (There is a different cp_logo.gif for every cpstyle directory.)

I would suggest reuploading all the files in the /cpstyles directory. That image almost looks like the files were modified (hacked?). I would see if that is a possibility.
