Search users by threads started

I'd like to offer a premium to users who create certain numbers of threads. For example, for every user who generates 100 threads they receive baseball hat with Volconvo embroidered on it.

However, I'm at a loss to figure out how to list users by threads started. Posts, yes. Threads, started, I don't know.

Any thoughts? Solutions?
