phpBB3 to vB4.2.0

Hi there, new member here.

I want to import the data from my phpBB3 forum to my vB4 forum. I have been reading and gather that I need to install Impex to vB4 to achive this.

One question that I have so far is:

Do I need to set the actual forums up myself on Vb4 so they are there when I import the posts etc or is this done on the import itself.

As I am new here a link to any previous threads that help with the install of Impex would be greatly appreciated.

I have tried to install Impress but get the following message when I click on the import tab from the ACP. Any ideas what I have done wrong.

The webpage cannot be found
HTTP 404
Most likely causes:
There might be a typing error in the address.
If you clicked on a link, it may be out of date.

What you can try:
Retype the address.

Go back to the previous page.

Go to and look for the information you want.
