Disabling Hooks
I have recently moved my website to a new server location
and everything works fine. Except for the forums, I get a 500 Internal Server Error. When I set the php string to disable hooks in the config.php, the forums work. Although, I have tried to disable the plugins through the AdminCP then commented out the hook disable string in config.php, but I still end up with a 500 error. Also tried removing all the hooks entirely and even tried re-uploading and installing them, but the forums will only work when I have hooks disabled in the config. Any suggestions? Side note: I run the server the site is hosted on, and all user & group permissions on the files are correct. Also has chmod 644 on the php files and 755 on the folders. |

No, nothing to do with the php version...
I'm thinking something with the database, because Iv re-uploaded vb and used my existing database, still get the same 500 error if I don't disable hooks. Yes, Iv tried installing all the plugins Iv used as well. Still have this issue.. no idea why --------------- Added [DATE]1348022798[/DATE] at [TIME]1348022798[/TIME] --------------- Anyone have another suggestion? Currently I uninstalled all my plugins, and I have hooks disabled in config. It's the only way I can get the forums to work without the 500 error. |
