Post icons mandatory and filtering

I'm looking for 2 modifications for vB4...

1. Making it mandatory to select a post icon when starting a new thread.

2. Giving users a mechanism to filter by post icons and only see threads with the selected icon(s) associated with them.

Might be able to pay a small amount for quick delivery of these.

Why wouldn't you use thread prefixes for this, since that's exactly what they do? (You can make them mandatory on a per forum basis as needed and filter by them).

You can make them have pictures just like the post icons.

I've had a vBulletin community for nearly 10 years and I had no idea what thread prefixes are - I'm not sure I'd ever noticed them!
