More Support & Old Threads To Be Pruned / Deleted!
Hello everyone, Mods, Admins, Coders, Designers, Contributers, Members and those I forgot to mention!
I am def happy to be part of vBulletin.org! Most of all I am happy for all the help I have got in here so far! Mostly from the members and and ofcs a few mods and administrators. I am a new member and I really needed help when I started on here, and thanks to everyone who have answered and helped me! But befor asking questions I ALWAYS SEARCH befor asking, because maybe it could have been answered.. And not to put more pressure on the members. I have 2 very important thing, that I really wanna mention, because I think only new members will see the changes, or the things never changed. First thing I wanna say is: When I started here, and as a forum owner I knew that I have to SEARCH befor making a new thread and asking any qestion, after searching a few times I saw amazingly many threads not answered! Most of them are all the way back from 2004-2006 and till 2012. And there are many many more! The only questions answered is only those questions that are visible, And all the threads that are not EYE-visible will stay there for years! At least could vBulletin.org could PRUNE them, or simply remove them, IF no one ever answers them anyways. And again and again people will run into those questions time after time, like what happend to me! I am sure many of you agree on this one! And the other thing is: I think vBulletin.org needs to provide more Support for the members, at least here are so many amazing coderz and designers which are online here everyday and asnwering peoples and members questions. It would be great if vBulletin.org did provide these amazing coders a Moderator Rank or maybe a whole another lever! Maybe new RANK as for example "Support", so the members could have their questions answered in time! Me myself, I have at least 3 to 5 threads not answered, and only in this month, as I said they will maybe stay there for years. But I really dont blame anyone, because trully all the Moderators and Admins are doing amazing because here are so less of them, still they keep vBulletin.org running, Thanks to all of them. And no should ever blame them. Therefor I would recommend more Support for the members, and I recommend that vBulletin.org could maybe make a new RANK called "Support", but only for MODS and DESIGNS and NEW MEMBERS, but non Pre-Sale or Other questions.. Many coders and designers really deserve to be in a SUPPORT position, and they are all amazing and I really admire each and everyone of these coders on here! It would be amazing if we could have SUPPORT section, who could provide help 24 hours arround the clock, like vBulletin.com ! But it doesnt mean they have to be online 24 hours, but just the IDEA of people will know that that here is someone to answer their questions! If those who agrees with me click on the Or please comment below , and lets get rid of all the old threads and more support to questions not answered! Thats all, Thanks to each and everyone of you who have given support to me and to all the new and old members! And thanks to the Moderators and Admins that had to explain stuff to me, I did not knew! And to move my posts from wrong to the right section without any problem! All of you needs a big PLUS! Thanks for reading my long story, all of you have already done amazing on here! |

Hi Paul thanks for the reply, I think at least we could answer the threads that are not answered! I did try to answer a few new, but those that are older than 2 or 3 years should be deleted in my opinion.. Else I really hope we could get a support section for daily questions and help! So this way the threads can be also marked as solved, or at least someone will answer them!
Thanks again Paul, as I said the admins and mods are doing amazing, and I am personally satisfied because here are few of them, and they do the hardest part of the job. |
