can someone please give me some html code for a side bar plz? I understand there are mods that do this for me but I'd rather have some code that I can edit myself to my liking, so can someone please give me some html code for this?

Why not download one of the mods and take a look at the code, copy the sidebar code and modify it to your needs then uninstall the product?
