What I'm trying to do is basically replicate the modification settings of when a normal user has to be 'approved' to become active on the forums. My site is divided in three classes rather than the regular two of vbulletin. I have the admin/mods and members, but also a professional advisor usergroup. I have setup that when on registration, the user must choose whether they are a 'member' or 'professional'. A 'member' is activated once email confirmation is executed, a 'Professional' is sent to a 'Pending Professional' usergroup with the same settings as a regular member, so they can access the forums like anyone else, but I'd like a way that anyone in this usergroup must be inspected by supermod or admin to verify their credentials before being approved for the 'Professional' usergroup.

I assume I could go about changing the member approval coding to include 'pending professional' usergroup as well, but I'd like the member to provide a site or list of credentials when registering that goes into the moderation queue for a mod or admin to review before accepting or declining access. Is there an easy way of achieving this? Thanks in advance. |
