Installing PopOver on 4-2-0
Hi all -
This ain't a post for the faint hearted and will probably need some expert, expert experience. I am trying to install a popover functionality on my vBulletin 4-2-0 site and am using an app to generate my popover code. To give as much information as possible I've documented my challenge in a doc, which I've uploaded here - also to preserve some space here at vBulletin.org. I truly, really, sincerely like to get advise from seasoned vBulletin coders and/or people who are far more versed at html than I am. The doc stretched a good number of pages, but most of them are taken by code, which probably isn't necessary to know about. My questions are condensed on the first few pages, and summarised here to make responding easier: QUESTION 1 ? is it possible to modify ONE template only to have the PopOver appear on my Blog, Forum and CMS? QUESTION 2 - So, if Instant PopOver instructs me to include ?onLoad="IPOLoad();" code in what?s already there - <body {vb:raw onload}> - how should this code line look like after change? QUESTION 3 ? is this where I should place Code Block 3? After reading the attached pdf you'll understand where these questions come from. WOULD LOVE TO RECEIVE YOUR HELP WITH THIS ISSUE! Thanks millions in advance and let me know where I need to send a good bottle of scotch to - if you'd desire this in return.. Mondi |
