I'm perplexed I haven't touched my admin cp for days and now suddenly new users are automatically becoming super mods when they join. How can I fix this and make them general users when they register again?

Also I've manually changed one user back from a super mod to a general chatter but their name is still displaying on the View Forum Leaders page.

What usergroupid is your Super Mods group? Do you have any Promotions set up?

I think i've sorted it thanks.
It appears to have been a setting in the glowhost spam filter that was set wrong.
