Add attachment extension .flv

Hello community is there a way to add/change the attachment types allowed. i would like to add the extensions for video.

.flv .mov .mpg etc

In the admincp, go to Attachments > Attachment Manager.

i added the file extension and they all upload 100% but then it says failed and there is nothing there
