Tabs are not changine- big problem!
Okay this may be a little hard to explain so I'm going to place a picture here for you to see.
Pic at bottom of post! Standard tab buttons work correctly however, if I select my integrated store, "P4M Store", the forum tab stays highlighted and the words on the bottom overlap. You can see this where "view Cart" is in white, but the standard forum sub tabs are there. I'm hoping someone can help me fix this issue. I like vB 4.2.0 but it has given me major headaches since I installed it. The added mods are not worth the hassle of all the repair work that I've had to do to my forum. Suggestions would be great, or is the best suggestion for me to restore 4.1.12? This is some kind of flaw, but I don't know if it is with vB or what. Many thanks if you can help me out. |

What do you have input for all the text fields for your custom tab?

1) Home takes you back to the shops home page 2) Catalog shows the catalog of the shop. (CS-Cart is being used) 3) My Account the account on the shop 4) View Cart obviously needed. 5) Company The about us page These text fields are for the most part necessary, I just can't figure out how to not have the Forums tab and text not displayed when I select the P4M store. It all worked in 4.1.12, and I paid a lot of money for this integration! My site: www.place4musicians.com username: test password: test1234 I set the user test up as a registered member. You may log in and then select the tab to see the problem that I'm having. I need for when I select the tab, "P4M Store", for it to be the primary focus and the Forums tab not even be selected. Thanks for noticing Lynne! I have this post plus one on vbulletin.com that nobody has replied to. Edit: Note, I can turn off these text fields in the CS-Cart Admin panel. I don't want to, but I will if it is a must. --------------- Added [DATE]1338259415[/DATE] at [TIME]1338259415[/TIME] --------------- |

Those are not the fields in the Navigation Manager (Title, Target URL, Display Order, etc). If those are from a mod, you need to post in the modification thread for help.

They are not from a mod, they are from a shopping cart that was integrated into my forum. The problem is that the tabs are called from templates, and not from the Navigation Manager. I've sent them a message about it. Now they are probably going to charge me another $80.00 an hour because vB made such a drastic change!
Like I said in the last post, I can turn the text fields off, and I may have to do that instead of paying more money for something that did work perfectly! I don't want to go back to vB 4.1.12 PL1 where it did work, so I have to deal with the problem another way. I was just hoping that you or someone could tell me how to make the necessary changes. |

Which means they are from a modification.

Here's a thought: Why don't you go back to the older version and wait until you're ready before you upgrade? Why the rush to upgrade?

Why not turn off the navtab in the modification and add it to the Navigation Manager correctly?

Yes, you are correct! My bad on that one.
