Copy the code for the sidebar and then float one left and one right. Add a new field to the blocks table for whether it should be on the left or right. You'll have to then add the field to the admincp. Then, for the code that grabs and spits out the blocks, you would need to group them by which side they go on and then spit out the left ones on the left side and the right ones on the right side.
This isn't something simple someone is going to just whip up for you. |

Well widgets will require a little bit of work honestly to show, I've never done that... I have done two sidebars before though.
You can try using one of these add-ons by Seven Skins to add in your own "blocks" per say and utilize some of that "wasted" space: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=230111 https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=229496 https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=230329 See if you can't think of a way to use of of the above to meet your needs . |

Ok thinks I will give it a try. I do think "MHO" that should be a default option that comes with VB. A good forum will have the most people on it and be there a lot of time and we should not waste the real-estate.
