Attachmens
Vbulletin Suite V 4.1.12
When I am editing a message in advanced mode and insert an attachment I can not see it or he link to to. When I save the message then I can only see the link to the attachment I uploaded to the message. I do have all options set to show attachments I think. Other users on the message base can see my attachments as a thumbnail but not me. Any ideas I have tried everything. I have another version of Vbulletin suite also on a different message base and I an see the attachments as thumbnails as soon as I upload them and insert into a message on that other message base. So I am thinking has to be sme setting in vbulletin for awhile I could see the attachments and then all of the sudden can't see some of them again. Driving me crazy any ideas HELP. |

Can you see images in any posts? Check your personal Settings > General Settings > and make sure you have a checkmark next to Can View Images.

Thanks, I have checked all the above and they are all set ok, yes some messages I see them and some I do not. I changed the inage setting once to have a boarder then I saw the attachments ok for a few days but now back the same way.
I know one more problem I have allot Vbulletin when I am logged in and let a message then go to save it says I do not have permission not logged in but I am logged in. This has happened for years now so I usually copy a message before trying to post it as I never know when it will say I do not have permission and the message is gone. The attachment thing seemed to have just started with one of the version upgrades. |

Disable all Products except the vBulletin Blog and vBulletin CMS (Admin CP -> Plugins & Products -> Manage Products -> Disable) AND uncheck all the plugins except those related to the vBulletin Blog and vBulletin CMS by (Admin CP -> Plugins & Products -> Plugin Manager). You must do BOTH of those steps in order to disable all non vBulletin Modifications. (If you are troubleshooting the Facebook App, then you should leave the product "vBulletin Facebook Register Login" enabled also.)
Now see if you still have the same problem. If so, then create a new style with no parent:
