Minimum posts to use blog?

[bornoffire]

Is there a way to make it where members have to have a minimum amount of posts on the forum before using the blog system without having to create a new usergroup and promote everyone once they get X posts? A mod would be great to do this, just too much spam being attracted by the blog system.
